If the office is closed, can I still access my unit?
Our Hwy. 25, Causeway Blvd., Florida St. and RV & Boat locations have 24/7 access to your unit. Our Hwy. 22, Hwy. 59, and Hwy. 190 locations are accessible from 6:00 a.m.to
midnight.
If the office is closed, can I still pay my bill or get in contact with someone?
We will have online payments available on our website soon.
Where are your facilities located?
We have seven Safe-Stor facilities conveniently located throughout Covington & Mandeville which serve Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, Folsom, Abita Springs, Lacombe and its surrounding area.
Is Safe-Stor locally owned?
Yes, Safe-Stor is locally-owned with it’s first location opening in 1997. The owner was born on the Northshore, grew up on the Northshore, lives on the Northshore and is proud to call the Northshore home. The owner’s family has lived here for four generations.
Renting a Unit
What hours can a unit be rented?
See the office hours for your desired Safe-Stor location. You may reserve a unit online via our reservation form, call us by phone, or stop by our office.
Do I have to reserve a unit online before coming to the office to rent a unit?
No. It is encouraged to call our office to check availability. We also welcome all prospective tenants to visit the facility for a tour by the facility manager.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?

Do I have to sign a lease?
Yes a lease is required. All Safe-Stor leases are month-to-month, are prorated for your move-in, and no security deposit is required.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
A current state-issued driver’s license is all that is needed.
When can I move-in?
Move in when it is convenient for you. Please be sure to check the hours of accessibility to your Safe-Stor location.
Do I need to provide my own lock for my storage unit?
Yes you do. You may provide your own lock or purchase one from us.
